Blue... Love... and Fashion!

First of all let me start this post by saying how truly sorry and bitter I feel about the horrible tragedy that happened in Colorado, hours ago. It couldn't have happened at a worse place since movie theaters are always filled with people including children. We live in a world filled with sick bastards. What a psycho to gas up people, shoot and kill so many. I can't believe how many were injured, too. No kind of death is too harsh on the guy who did this. =( It is truly sad and sickening. My heart broke when I found out.

Secondly, let's move on to a different type of post than usually. I am about to post and comment on photos from a sweet date lunch we had by the beach in Durres, Albania (by the Adriatic Sea, near "The Illyria" beach). I love all the photos from that day and choosing these was hard. I hope you like them as well.

Wishing you all a Lovely, Fabulous Summer Weekend!!

Isn't this place beautiful? When Mother Nature Combines Blues and Greens it can't get any prettier. =) I love the little Palm Trees, too.
And here is me in the middle of all this Beauty. I guess my Blue & White Dress matched dhe Sky & the Sea perfectly. I love this dress. =)
And here is us, taking a walk by the sea after the fabulous lunch we had... It was the perfect Sunday for it. ;-) The sea was so pretty, so blue and real calm, that day. =)
Speaking of a great lunch, the photos of the first two dishes were just our awesome appetizers. We started with a fantastic Wild Mushroom and Portobella appetizer (we both love mushrooms) in a tangy mustard sauce with a red wine and balsamic reduction sauce, as well. Then we had that fabulous Seafood Salad with Sautee Mussels, Shrimp, Lobster and other Shellfish in a White Wine, Lemon and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Sauce. We had more fish and a fantastic pasta dish as our main meal. Throughout we drank some White Sauvignon and those champagne flutes actually carry a Lemon Sorbet which is a specialty of the rastaurant and they offer it for free to every guest. A great, light, refreshing way to end our meal. This fabulous restaurant (which I truly reccomend) is named "Vila Lule" which translates into "Flower Villa".
Here are some more photos of us and of me. I didn't realize I had food in my teeth. You can really see it in those up-close photos so I do apologize. LOL The sun was really bright that day as you can tell. I dan't do without my sunglasses. Yet it wasn't terribly hot. It was the perfect outfit to wear. It's good that there is always a breeze by the sea, as well.

  1. I agree Ada - I don't know what goes so wrong in some people's heads. This post is stunning - what a beautiful location, and you look absolutely fabulous in that dress! The food sounded wonderful and I'm glad you had such a great day - it sounds like things have been stressful, so you deserve it. :) Have a great weekend!

The world is both beautiful and tragic. We have to thrive in it or fail. I like that you go out and embrace the beauty and joy in your life.
