Floral Aqua Rose for Fashion Challenge: Day 3.

Yesterday was day 3 of the Challenge and it was choosing between Tribal and Floral. I own a ton of floral but no tribal, or at least what I think is considered tribal. I really wanted to go for something different and wear Tribal. Last week I even found a pair of summery, light pants (sort of harem style) in a muted, soft Tribal or Ethnic-like print. But even-though they looked great on and felt soft and easy like pajamas, they felt and looked too much like pajamas and even my shopping companion thought so, therefore I didn't buy them.

Anyway I did another sort of monochromatic look pairing aqua with light teal and wearing a bright floral-printed skirt with a plain top (or what I like to call "Girly Tees). The outfit looks sort of shapeless in the photos, this I think is also due to the fact that these photos were taken around 9.30 PM, while I put this outfit on around 7.15 AM before leaving for work.  My late afternoon and evening consisted of appointments and a late coffee break with my husband. I then visited my in-laws briefly and then finally made it home and took some pics, right as I got in. So, pardon in advance if I look disheveled, undone, uneven or whatever. I promise you, 2 people even complimented me and told me I looked "elegant", on what I had on yesterday.

Short-Sleeve, Ruched-Neckline, Aqua, Cotton Modal Tee: The Limited.
Knee-Length, A-line, Aqua-Teal Silk Skirt w/ Bold, Bright Flowers and Roses: The Limited.
Silver-Chain Necklace w/ Teardrop, Blue-Beaded Pendant: Meijer's.
Blue-Rose Plastic & Gold Metallic Stud Earrings: Koton.
Blue Nail Polish (Manicure): Flormar.
Dark Silver, Thong-Wedge, Beaded Sandals w/ Black, Gray & Silver Beads: Nine West.

This was Round 3 of the Challenge for this week: Wednesday, June 13th. As you can tell I chose FLORAL.

  2. I think the outfit looks great for being worn all day! Lovely colors, the cute blouse is a perfect match for your skirt.

(Also re your comment: I can absolutely ship to Albania. Just email me at ecc3ntriccynic[at]gmail[dot]com about what you're interested in, and I'll work something out with you. Shipping may just take a little longer due to international travel).

    1. Megan, thanks for the lovely compliments. I will think about what I want from you and E-Mail you when I am sure. Shipping to Albania is not actually very expensive (my parents ship here often so I know; I also used to ship to Albania when I was in US) and only takes 5-7 days.

  4. I am not a fan of tribal, so i totally get it.
I have a few tribal accessories but that is about it.
That skirt you are wearing is gorgeous :)

    1. Not everyone could pull off tribal or look good in it, I agree. I might own some tribal jewelry but no actual clothing so I played it kind of safe. You can totally tell these photos were taken after a full, long day though.
