Multi Colorful Horizontal Stripes.

So since I haven't blogged in a while let me start by saying in big wonder WHERE THE HECK DID JANUARY GO? Tomorrow marks January 31st, as well as exactly twenty days since I started working. I will talk about my job in a later post, yet again. I want to get the hang of it and don't want to jinx myself. Plus this is a fashion blog, not a job description blog.

But I will tell you this much, I love being able to wear almost anything I want as long as it is work-appropriate and business casual. Coming up with outfits has been lots of fun. I work 6 days a week, including either a Saturday or a Sunday so I usually do 3 dresses/skirts outfits a week and 3 pants outfits. My sweater dresses and thick tights with boots have gotten a lot of use since it has been a real cold winter. I have actually photographed most of my outfits just haven't had much time or desire to blog. But here I am again. =) Happy Monday and Happy Beginning to February!!!

Multi-Colored, Stripped, Long, Sweater Dress: Old Navy.
Circle, Black, Jet Crystal Necklace + Circle, Black, Jet Crystal (Matching) Earrings: White House Black Market.
Black Headband with Tulle Rosette: The Limited.
Olive Green, Wedge, Oxford Booties: Old Navy.

Long Time No See and I am Wearing Pink!!

So I give you guys props, lots and lots of props. How do you possibly find time every day in your life to keep up a beautiful, healthy, daily blog, with a few paragraphs and photos to back up? I applaud even more, those of you who post other special posts such as ones on shopping, pinterest, outfits you are currently liking in stores, diet, exercise, food recipes, etc. I have barely had time to dress myself and eat in this last week and a half to two weeks.

As of Wednesday January 11th, I officially started my first day of work and joined the work force here in Albania. I am surrounded by Culture, Books and Education at my job. I have my own office and I was even provided with a company cell-phone and a company e-mail address. Needless to say I do love it, though it is quite different from what I have ever done before. I don't want to jinx myself but I must say for the time being I am happy there despite my long work days. It takes me an hour to an hour and 15 minutes to get there and back (each time), add that to an 8 to 9 hour day of work, equals to pretty much the entire day being gone. Plus I work 6 days a week so my weekends are limited in time, also. That is why you have not seen me around here, that much. Can you blame me?

The worst part about it is that I have to take two busses to get there (each time, back and forth). It is in the far suburbs of Tirana where I currently reside at. But the building is brand-new as is the company and despite the fact that it is far, it is indeed at a good location. The thing that sucks is that I have to wake up super early in the morning and I am so NOT a morning person. Plus it has been a pretty cold winter so dealing with the morning climate is tough.

So anyway, I have been taking photos of my outfits every day this week, it is just a matter of me posting them. I have added some on my lap-top, while still waiting to add the others. It is a challenge let me tell you. Because I also have to balance my home, be a wife and a housewife, cook and clean, while still have a career. Here is an outfit that dates back a couple of weeks. See you later ladies and enjoy Your Sunday!!

Hot Pink, Boat-Neck, 3/4-Sleeve Sweater: American Eagle.
Lilac-Pink, Stretchy & Cozy Cotton Turtleneck: T-Box.

I LOVE THE LIMITED.

Ladies and girls as you all must know by now I LOVE TO SHOP!! YES, YES I DO! Also, as I may have mentioned once or twice before I love The Limited. It is by far one of my most favorite stores and brands to shop at. I love everything they have there, especially their Drew pants, their sweaters, their dresses, their ruffled tops, their belts, their tights and their purses. But really every time I have gone to The Limited since Spring of 1999, I have never left the store empty-handed. Good for my wardrobe, bad for my wallet. *Ding Ding*

You all know by now that I left United States, exactly 8 weeks ago today, actually. So the last time I shopped in that country, was sometime in November. My last (huge) shopping spree consisted of some new clothing from The Limited and some from Express, Old Navy, Loft & of course White House Black Market. So Nov 10th was actually the last day I shopped my local Limited store where everyone knows me by name (and I have even become friends with some of the girls). The dress and belt I wore to "My Goodbye to Michigan" Party on Saturday November 12th 2011 were 2 of the last things I purchased from the Limited. [I will soon post the dress and belt I am talking about.] On my last shopping day there I even brought the girls (that work there), yummy cupcakes from a local bakery, and took some photos. =) The photos below are from there (The Limited @ 12 Oaks Mall in Michigan.) The Blonde girl Ashley is my friend from there, for about 4 years now. We even went out for cocktails, before I left. Awwww how much I miss shopping there. =D

Merino Wool, Cozy, Red Cardigan: Banana Republic.
Silver, Sleeveless, Sequined Shell: Casual Corner (Vintage).
Black Skinny Belt with Light Pink Bow on the Side: Belongs to a Dress from JC Penney.
Heather Gray Trousers: Old Navy.
Black, Suede Oxford Shoes with Laces: Forever 21.
Black, Glass Crystal Necklace: White House Black Market.

3 Happy News in One Day!! Hip Hip Hoorray!

So the bad news is that it is 1.20 AM and I am kind of cold. The good news on the other side is QUITE GREAT. I found myself a brand-new job (and a good, promising, interesting one, even) in my new home-town, that little corner of the world known as Tirana. I will get to this more in a few weeks after I get the hang of the job. But I do start tomorrow (today, technically.)

Today overall (as in Tuesday January 10th) has been a great day and I have gotten not one, not two, but three notifications of good news and good things to come!! Aren't you guys so so soooooo happy for me!?! 2012 has started great so far I cannot complain. I wish and pray that it continues to be great and it continues to bring me Good Health, Good Luck, Good Intentions, Good People & Good News!!

And since it is sooo darn late and sleep is calling my name, I must make this quick and post this belated outfit, fast. =) This outfit is a couple of weeks old. I think it belongs to December 22nd 2011 (last year, oops), the day I cut and colored my hair. I trimmed it rather. It is nothing special of an outfit but I am posting it due to how beautiful and healthy my hair looks and I bragged about this to you guys, 2+ weeks ago. So here it is. Have a Great Wednesday, Enjoy January 11th 2012!!

Black Cardigan with Black Crystal Buttons: Express.
Scoop-Neck, Light, Orange Sweater: The Limited.
Black, Stretchy Pant Leggings: White House Black Market. (I love these, I have 3 pairs of the same identical ones. LOL)

My New Year's Day 2012 Outfit.

New Year's Day mostly consisted of sleeping, I am not going to lie. After the all-night partying we did on New Year's Eve and since we were home by 6.00 AM and I didn't even sleep till about 7.30 A.M., my body was due for a full 8 hours of sleep. So, sleep I did, till about 4.30 PM or so. My husband slept even longer. Around 6.30 we got ready to go out. His parents and sister were going to pick us up to go for a New Year's Celebration over his Aunt's Family where we had dinner, all 9 of us. They were still cooking and preparing when we got there. We got to some cocktails, nuts and a few appetizers first and were watching a very popular Sunday Live TV Show. Dinner was great and among other things we had steak, rice pilaf, Russian salad, Greek Salad & Baklava. We had a great time and didn't leave until about midnight.

...And below is what I wore. I wanted to dress cute, since we were STILL celebrating New Year's after all, but I also wanted to feel comfortable, and put-together at once. I think I achieved that in my Favorite Sweater Dress from Loft. How was your New Year's Celebration? What did you wear and what did you do?

Hot Pink Jeans, for the First Time.

So yesterday was a rainy and windy day here in Tirana, quite cold I must say, probably about 30-35 degrees and felt even cooler with the wind-chill. While this morning I woke up to sunshine and it felt a lot warmer so around noon I met up a friend for coffee, than we had a little sweet cocktail (to wish the New Year) and some sandwiches for lunch. I went home, felt OK for the most part and then about an hour later, I suddenly felt so weak and fatigued and needed to sleep. Needless to say I have been in bed (mostly not sleeping) in my pajamas about 6 hours later and now it's 8.10 P.M. and I am finally posting a blog. I am going to keep this short and sweet and move on to the outfit (an outfit worn recently) since I don't feel so well. Take Care Girls and Enjoy Your Weekend!!

Hot Pink Skinny Jeans: Express.
Black, Soft Tunic with 3/4 Sleeves and Beaded Detailing on the Shoulders: White House Black Market.
Silver Chains and Bracelets: Different Stores such as JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, etc.
Black Suede Booties: Worthington (JC Penney's).

P.S. The first time I ever wore these jeans and the first time I ever wore such bright-colored jeans for that matter. I think this first time was a SUCCESS!! Also I must say I love the last photo, I look so carefree and happy with that genuine smile and very little makeup.

My New Year's Eve 2012 Outfit.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 EVERYONE!! How was your New Year's Eve and New Year Day Celebration? Do you have any resolutions this year? Did you start them yet? Most importantly, do you have any Fashion Resolutions, if so I want to know what they are. =) I have a couple of resolutions of my own and I will post a brand-new blog about them, at a later date.

Today is Thursday, January 5th - the first Thursday of the year. I took a few days off to celebrate the biggest holiday of the year, though I have been meaning to post since January 2nd or on the 3rd at the latest, but I have been busy, been spending lots of time with my man and his family and some girlfriends. It has been a great though busy New Year thus far. And today, finally - BETTER LATE THAN NEVER - I am bringing you my New Year's Eve outfit.

As I have mentioned a few times before, here on my blog, after 5 years this is my first New Year Celebration back in my home country of Albania. And it is MY FIRST EVER New Year's Eve spent in Tirana (the capital of Albania). We started the celebrations around 9.00 PM having lots and lots of good food over my In-Laws and watching a great NY Eve Program on TV, hosted by Top Channel Albania. Around 11.45 PM up until 12.10 we started watching from the balcony, the show of fireworks into the sky, coming from every direction. Tirana sure knows how to party and celebrate on New Year's Eve, in every aspect and the fireworks were spectacular!! I also had my good-night kiss with my husband, wished him and everyone else in his family Happy New Year, gave his mom, his sister and his dad their gifts I had for the Holiday Season. I Gave them the gifts just a few minutes after midnight. I had a beautiful silver chain necklace with a Topaz Stone for his mom, as well as a beige & leopard print scarf, for her. For his sister I had a gorgeous multi-metallic, basket-woven cuff bracelet and matching earrings (but not as a set) and a pair of mushroom-colored leg-warmers. Last but not least I had a beautiful silk tie for his dad. And for my lovely husband Piro I bought a nice shirt and tie (which matched perfectly and he wore them on NY Eve), a cell-phone cover and a pair of warm, black, everyday gloves.

Around 12.10 AM I started getting dressed and ready for the biggest party of the year. Piro (my husband's name) and I had booked tickets to go to an all-night party @ City Lounge, a hip, modern, fancy and cool Lounge Bar (which usually is a Restaurant too). I wore a sexy little number for New Year's Eve 2012. And as you can tell from the photos below, the dress is sexy coming or going. It is a little black dress featuring Gold Sequins and believe it or not, this was my first time ever wearing sequins on New Year's Eve. I have done an LBD, I have done a bright jewel color, I have done a satin form-fitting dress, I have done pants & a pretty blouse, I have even done feathers on New Year's Eve but never before a sequined dress. The day I purchased this I knew it would be my dress for this New Year's Eve (2012) and I was in love with it and still love it. I got it while I was dress-shopping at Express. While I tried on 4 other sequined dresses there, I knew this was the one my heart was after. So here it is in all its glory. Happy 2012 Lovelies!!

This is My Dress as Featured on an Express Model and this is how I wore it (below):

As you can see we took many photos that night. I wanted to end this post by posting three of my favorite photos I took, next to my husband - my love. Doesn't he look sharp in his new shirt & a tie I had purchased him as a gift?
